The terms “Client”, "You", "your company" and "your organisation", refers to you and the company on whose behalf you are authorised to register for this service.

The Marine Recruitment web site is a venue for employers and agencies to post vacancies and for job seekers to post a skills profile.
Marine Recruitment Co. Ltd is not to be considered an employment agency in respect of any introduction facilitated via the web site and you agree to take responsibility for conducting all reasonable checks as to the identity and suitability of applicants before entering into any contractual agreements.
Value Added Options are available by separate agreement for clients who require processing and shortlisting of applications, reference checking and verification of biographical and employment information.
Terms of Use:
By registering for a User Account, you confirm that you are authorised to subscribe to this service on behalf of your company and that your company agrees to pay the charges in force at the time of booking.
Companies with branch offices at different physical locations are required to set up separate User Accounts for each location.
Marine Recruitment Co. Ltd. reserves the right to carry out all reasonable checks, before authorising your access to any services available on the web site.
Once your User Access is authorised we will grant your company a non-exclusive licence to use the service subject to the provisions of these Terms.
Password and Registration
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information supplied and for the security of your logon details.
The Logon details provided for you to access non-public areas of the web site are issued on a single user basis and may not be shared or transferred to any other individual or organisation without our express consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Logon details and agree to notify us of any unauthorised use of such details.
You shall be responsible for all activities carried out under your user account, whether or not authorised by you.
On line advertising
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and ensure that any content uploaded onto the site does not infringe the rights of others.
We reserve the right to amend or remove any vacancies that appear to be discriminatory or in breach of any applicable laws or regulations.
In order to maintain the accuracy of available vacancies you agree to remove any vacancies for which applications are no longer being sought.

Complaints procedure:
We expect our members and clients to conduct their activities in a professional manner and will not tolerate behaviour that causes inconvenience to others or undermines the integrity of our service.
We will investigate all complaints notified to us and take action accordingly.
All complaints should be submitted to abuse@marine-recruitment.com and include the full details of the problem you have experienced with a registered user of this service.
If, on investigation we find that the complaint can be substantiated, we will immediately terminate their use of this service.

Payment for services
Payment is required for the provision of services on the marine recruitment web site, as outlined in our advertising rates.These charges will be those in force at the time of booking and may vary from time to time with immediate effect. VAT will be charged, in addition, where applicable.
Invoices are required to be settled, in full, on receipt. As per the "Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 2002", Interest will be charged on overdue accounts @ 8% above the Bank of England Base Rate.
Refund Policy
In the event of this web site service being discontinued indefinitely, a refund will be payable pro-rata to the credits outstanding on your active subscription. This does not apply where your organisation makes the decision to cancel your User Account. Nor does it apply to User Accounts that are terminated due to breaches of our terms and conditions. Any other refunds are at the discretion of Marine Recruitment Co. Ltd.
